We're in Santiago now and it's Jeff's birthday! About a week ago on the Camino we met Theresa from Idaho and her mother Barbara from Wisconsin. Somehow the subject of birthdays came up and we discovered that Theresa and Jeff share the same birthday! So we resolved to have a special birthday breakfast at the Parador in Santiago. And so we did!
Buen Camino to Barbara and Theresa, who continued their walk beyond Santiago to Finisterra this morning. We're glad to see that the sun is shining on them today!
